Cavaliers Sweep Hustlin' Hawks

The St. Thomas More boy's soccer teams have swept Greenfield today. The varsity won there match 3-1, goals by Evan Johnson, Miguel Frias, and Jake Key. The junior varsity also won there game 7-2 with two goals by Max Voss, Chris Lopez, one goal by Manny Lopez, Cal Branger, and Luis Gallegos. Great job guys!

Next Game: Wednesday September 2 @ Croataian Park both games @ 4:30pm against Greendale.

The Last 2 Games...

The St. Thomas More boys soccer have had two games earlier this week. The first for the teams was at Germantown. The JV team was up first. It was the first game with there new coaches and only the second day with the coaches overall. The boys came out flat and got crushed 8-0. The varsity came up next. New season, new coaches, new players and the boys were ready to play. they came out strong and had goals from Matt Ziems and Evan Johnson, but Germantown out did them by scoring 3 goals.
The boys had another game against another solid team in Franklin. The JV team came out strong scoring 3 goals in the first half, Nolan Polwonski had 2 and Max Voss add one more. The boys came out strong in the second half and got one more goal from forward Cal Branger, before the game was called due to lightening. The lightening passed and the varsity was up. They came out weak and after Franklin's 2 goals in the first 20 minutes and missed chances by the Cavaliers, the boys lost the game 2-0.

Try- Outs Start Today!

This year's boy's soccer try- outs begin today at 2:30pm. New season and new goals. WIAA State Championship 2009!

Try- Outs and New Head Coach

The 2009 STM Boys Soccer Season is just days away!

Try outs are....Monday: 3pm at the Cousins Center. Tell everyone you know be there at 2:30pm and to bring plenty of water along with cleats and flats. Make Sure to dress for the weather.

There is another announcement, last year Varsity Assistant Coach Tommy Jarmuz will be taking over as the Varsity Head Coach this year! This year is Tommy's third in the program.
